Peter Bogdanovich: podcast appearances and interviews

Peter Bogdanovich was an American director, writer, actor, producer, critic, and film historian. He began his career as a young actor studying under Stella Adler and later worked as a film critic for publications including Film Culture and Esquire. Transitioning into filmmaking during the New Hollywood movement, Bogdanovich gained recognition with his feature film debut, Targets, in 1968. His career breakthrough came with The Last Picture Show in 1971, which earned him Academy Award nominations for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. He directed several acclaimed films such as What's Up, Doc? and Paper Moon, and also worked on projects including Saint Jack, They All Laughed, Mask, Noises Off, The Cat's Meow, and She's Funny That Way.
