Peter Anthony: podcast appearances and interviews

Peter Anthony, born on 24 February 1971, is a Malaysian politician, singer, and businessman. He has served as the Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly for Melalap from May 2018 to March 2025. During his political career, he held the position of State Minister of Infrastructure Development in Sabah under the Heritage Party (WARISAN) state administration from May 2018 until September 2020. Anthony was also the founding president of the Social Democratic Harmony Party (KDM), a party established in January 2022 and aligned with the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah coalition. Prior to founding KDM, he was an independent after leaving WARISAN on 28 December 2021, a move made alongside Limbahau MLA Juil Nuatim. Anthony previously served as a member and Vice President of WARISAN. Outside of politics, he is a founder of Asli Jati Engineering Sdn Bhd, a construction company involved in the Universiti Malaysia Sabah tender scandal in 2014. His work in the construction industry and his political involvement have made him a notable figure in Sabah. Throughout his career, Anthony has been active in both the political and business sectors, contributing to regional development and political party dynamics in Sabah.
