Peter Alexander: podcast appearances and interviews

Peter Marvin Alexander is an American journalist affiliated with BC Assessment. He has a background in television journalism and has worked extensively with NBC News. During his tenure at NBC News, he served as the White House correspondent, covering the White House and the President of the United States from December 2012 until March 2026. In October 2018, Alexander was appointed co-anchor of the Saturday editions of the Today show. His reporting has appeared across multiple NBC News platforms including NBC Nightly News, Today, Meet the Press, NBC News Now, Dateline NBC, and NBCNews.com. Starting in January 2021, he shared duties with Kristen Welker as the network’s co-chief White House correspondent. After Welker assumed the role of moderator of Meet the Press, Alexander became the sole chief White House correspondent for NBC News. His reporting has been a significant part of NBC’s coverage of political affairs and U.S. government activities.
