Paula Radcliffe: podcast appearances and interviews

Paula Jane Radcliffe is a British former long-distance runner recognized for her achievements in marathon and other long-distance events. She is a three-time winner of the London Marathon and a three-time champion of the New York Marathon. Radcliffe also won the Chicago Marathon in 2002 and was crowned the 2005 World Champion in the Marathon in Helsinki. She previously held the women's world marathon record with a time of 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 25 seconds, a record that stood for 16 years from 2003 until 2019. Additionally, she is a former world champion in the marathon, half marathon, and cross country races, and she has been European champion over 10,000 metres and in cross country. On the track, Radcliffe secured a silver medal in the 10,000 metres at the 1999 World Championships and was the 2002 Commonwealth champion at 5000 metres. She represented Great Britain at four successive Olympic Games from 1996 to 2008, although she did not win an Olympic medal. Her athletic accomplishments have earned her numerous accolades including the BBC Sports Personality of the Year, Laureus World Comeback of the Year, IAAF World Athlete of the Year, and the AIMS World Athlete of the Year three times. She has been honored with an MBE and has received nominations for World Sportswoman of the Year. Radcliffe was inducted into the England Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010 and into the Loughborough University Hall of Fame in 2015. She concluded her competitive running career at the 2015 London Marathon and has participated in later marathons such as Tokyo and Boston.
