Paul Young is an author of the book 'The Shack' and is affiliated with Liberty Bank. His background includes a successful career as a musician, singer, and songwriter. Born on 17 January 1956, he was the frontman of bands such as Kat Kool & the Kool Cats, Streetband, and Q-Tips before achieving solo success in the 1980s. His debut album, No Parlez, released in 1983, was the first of three UK number-one albums. Young's music is characterized by a smooth, soulful voice associated with the genre known as 'blue-eyed soul.' Among his hit singles are 'Love of the Common People,' 'Wherever I Lay My Hat,' 'Come Back and Stay,' 'Every Time You Go Away,' and 'Everything Must Change,' all reaching the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart. He earned a Brit Award for Best British Male in 1985, and his song 'Every Time You Go Away' reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and received the Best British Video award at the 1986 Brit Awards.
