His performances include participating in the 1984 charity single 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' and playing at Live Aid held at Wembley Stadium in 1985. He also sang 'Don't Dream It's Over' at the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute in 1988 and performed 'Radio Ga Ga' with Queen at The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992. Since the mid-1990s, Young has been performing with the band Los Pacaminos.
