About Paul Muldoon
Paul Muldoon is an Irish poet born in 1951. He has published more than thirty poetry collections and has received prestigious awards including the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry and the T. S. Eliot Prize. Muldoon has held academic and literary positions at several distinguished institutions. He has served as the Ireland Professor of Poetry at Trinity College. At Princeton University, he was both the Howard G. B. Clark '21 University Professor in the Humanities and the Founding Chair of the Lewis Center for the Arts. From 1999 to 2004, he held the position of Oxford Professor of Poetry. In addition to his academic roles, Muldoon has been president of the Poetry Society in the United Kingdom and has worked as a poetry editor at The New Yorker.
