Paul McGregor is an Australian leadership coach, author, and MC with a background in professional rugby league. Born on December 31, 1967, he was a rugby league player who primarily played as a centre during the 1990s and 2000s. His playing career included stints with the Illawarra Steelers and the St. George Illawarra Dragons, joining the latter at the start of their joint venture in 1999. McGregor's playing achievements encompass appearances for the Country Origin team, NSW in State of Origin, and the Australian national team at the international level. Transitioning into coaching after his playing career, he became the head coach of the St. George Illawarra Dragons in the National Rugby League until August 2020. During his coaching tenure, he was appointed interim coach following the sacking of Steve Price during the 2014 NRL season.
