Paul Levine: podcast appearances and interviews

Paul J. Levine, born on January 9, 1948, is an American author known for his work in crime fiction and legal thrillers. He has written twenty-four mystery novels, including three series that feature different protagonists. The Jake Lassiter series, which follows a former football player turned Miami lawyer, comprises fifteen books published between 1990 and 2022. Levine's other series include the four-book Solomon versus Lord series from the mid-2000s and a series beginning with Midnight Burning in 2025, inspired by the historical friendship between Albert Einstein and Charlie Chaplin. In addition to his novels, Levine has authored four standalone works and contributed twenty episodes to the television drama series JAG. He also co-created and produced the CBS series First Monday in 2002, which was inspired by one of his novels. Born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Levine graduated from Pennsylvania State University and initially worked as a reporter for the Miami Herald. He later earned a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and practiced as an attorney in Florida for seventeen years before pursuing a career in writing.
