Paul Ford: podcast appearances and interviews

Paul Ford Weaver was an American character and comedic actor born on November 2, 1901, and died on April 12, 1976. He was known for portraying authority figures who exhibited ineptitude and pompous behavior, often for comedic effect. His notable stage role was as Mayor George Shinn in the 1957 Broadway musical comedy The Music Man, a role he reprised in the subsequent production five years later starring Robert Preston and Shirley Jones. Ford also appeared on television as U.S. Army Colonel John T. Hall in several seasons of the military comedy The Phil Silvers Show between 1955 and 1959.
