Patrick Scott: podcast appearances and interviews

Patrick Scott was an Irish artist born in Kilbrittain, County Cork, in 1921. Although he initially trained as an architect and worked for fifteen years for architect Michael Scott, assisting in projects such as the design of Busáras in Dublin and creating the black and orange livery for Irish intercity trains, he became a full-time artist in 1960. Scott is renowned for his gold paintings, which feature abstract geometrical forms in gold leaf set against pale tempura backgrounds. His artistic repertoire also included tapestries and carpets. His works are held in prominent collections such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
