Patrick Murphy: podcast appearances and interviews

Patrick Murphy is the chair of the UAB's Barefield Entrepreneurship Program and is affiliated with the Lane Fox Respiratory Unit at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He has a background in both politics and military service, including serving as the 32nd United States Under Secretary of the Army. Murphy was the first veteran of the Iraq War to be elected to the United States House of Representatives, representing Pennsylvania's 8th congressional district from 2007 to 2011. He has also worked as a media anchor for MSNBC's Taking the Hill and held academic positions, including faculty roles at the Wharton Business School and the United States Military Academy, where he is the Distinguished Chair of Innovation. Murphy was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as Under Secretary of the Army on December 18, 2015, after being nominated by the President and was sworn into office on January 4, 2016.
