Patrick Mullins: podcast appearances and interviews

Patrick Michael Mullins, born on February 5, 1992, in New Orleans, is a former American professional soccer player. As a left-footed forward, he achieved notable success in college, winning the Hermann Trophy twice as the top men's college soccer player and leading NCAA Division I in scoring in 2013. During his collegiate career at Maryland, he was a two-time All-American and contributed to the team's consecutive appearances in the College Cup. Mullins was drafted in the first round of the 2014 MLS SuperDraft by the New England Revolution, marking the beginning of an eight-year career in Major League Soccer. Throughout his professional tenure, he played for five different clubs, including the Revolution, New York City FC, D.C. United, Columbus Crew, and Toronto FC. In his rookie season, Mullins participated in MLS Cup 2014 with the Revolution and notably became the first player in MLS history to score four goals in a single half during a match against the San Jose Earthquakes. After several trades, he joined Toronto FC, where he made the most appearances of his career with 63 matches, scoring his final goal in April 2021 during a CONCACAF Champions League match. In total, Mullins scored 31 goals in his MLS career and played over 200 senior games, including his time with semi-professional clubs Baton Rouge Capitals and New Orleans Jesters early in his career. He retired from professional soccer at the end of the 2021 season.
