Pamela Sue Evette, born on August 28, 1967, is an American politician and businesswoman who has served as the 93rd lieutenant governor of South Carolina since 2019. She is a member of the Republican Party and has been in office since January 9, 2019, when Governor Henry McMaster began his first full term. Prior to her election, Evette was the chief executive officer of Quality Business Solutions in Upstate South Carolina. She holds an affiliation with South Carolina State University. Evette is notably the first lieutenant governor of South Carolina to be elected on the same ticket as the governor.
