Omar Epps: podcast appearances and interviews

Omar Hashim Epps, born on July 20, 1973, is an American actor, rapper, and producer. He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Epps made his film debut in the 1992 crime drama Juice, starring alongside Tupac Shakur. His filmography includes notable titles such as Higher Learning, Scream 2, The Wood, In Too Deep, Love & Basketball, and Almost Christmas. Several of his films are considered significant within Black cinema. In addition to his work in film, Epps has had an extensive television career. He portrayed Dr. Dennis Gant on the medical drama series ER, and J. Martin Bellamy in Resurrection. From 2004 to 2012, he played Dr. Eric Foreman on the Fox medical drama series House. His other television roles include Isaac Johnson in Shooter from 2016 to 2018 and Detective Malcolm Howard on the Starz crime drama Power Book III: Raising Kanan. Epps has received critical acclaim, winning three NAACP Image Awards and earning a nomination for a Screen Actors Guild Award.
