Noam Chomsky is an American intellectual, philosopher, linguist, political activist, and social critic. He serves as an Institute Professor and Emeritus Professor of Linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a Laureate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Arizona.
