About Nina Jankowicz
Nina Jankowicz is an American researcher and writer affiliated with the Wilson Center. She is the author of two books: How to Lose the Information War, published in 2020, which explores Russian use of disinformation as a geopolitical strategy; and How to Be a Woman Online, published in 2022, a handbook aimed at combating online harassment of women. In May 2022, Jankowicz served briefly as the executive director of the Disinformation Governance Board of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She resigned from this position after serving for three weeks.
