Nigel McGuinness, born Steven Haworth, is an English professional wrestler, sports commentator, and magician associated with Ring of Honor. He began his wrestling career in 1999 on the American independent circuit and started working with Ring of Honor in 2003. McGuinness is notable for holding the ROH Pure Championship for a record 350 days, a title he lost in a unification match to Bryan Danielson. He also won the ROH World Championship in 2007 and held it for 545 days. Beyond his work with ROH, he has competed in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Noah, and WWE. In addition to his in-ring career, Haworth has served as a color commentator and on-screen authority figure. From October 2009 to June 2011, he competed in TNA under the ring name Desmond Wolfe, marking his last period as an active wrestler before retiring in 2011 due to medical complications. After retiring, he returned to ROH as a commentator and authority figure until December 2016. Subsequently, Haworth signed with WWE, where he worked as a commentator for NXT and NXT UK.
