Nick Leeson: podcast appearances and interviews

Nicholas William Leeson is an English former derivatives trader known for his involvement in the 1995 collapse of Barings Bank, the United Kingdom's oldest merchant bank. His fraudulent, unauthorized, and speculative trading activities led to the bank's failure. Leeson was convicted of financial crime in Singapore and served more than four years in Changi Prison. After his release, he held senior management roles at Galway United, a League of Ireland football club, between 2005 and 2011. Following his resignation as chief executive officer of the club during its financial difficulties, Leeson pivoted to a career as a speaker, where he participates in keynote and after-dinner engagements advising companies on issues related to risk management and corporate responsibility. Since 2023, he has been working as a private investigator focused on cases involving financial misconduct.
