Nick Kennedy: podcast appearances and interviews

Nick Kennedy, born on 19 August 1981, is a retired English rugby union player and a former Director of Rugby at London Irish. During his playing career, he was a lock for England, London Irish, Toulon, and Harlequins. Kennedy represented England Saxons in the 2006 and 2007 Churchill Cups and was part of the team that defeated Ireland A in 2008. He was also selected for the 2008 summer tour of New Zealand and was included in Martin Johnson's Elite Player Squad in June 2008, starting his first match against the Pacific Islanders and scoring a try. Kennedy participated in every game of the 2009 Six Nations. In 2012, he signed with Toulon for the 2012/13 season, contributing to their victory in the 2013 Heineken Cup Final by a narrow 16-15 margin. Following his request to be released from Toulon, he returned to England to play for Harlequins during the 2013/14 season. Kennedy retired from playing in May 2014 to pursue a coaching career and was appointed academy director at London Irish. On 1 July 2016, he was named the club's new Director of Rugby in a revised coaching setup. He stepped down from this role on 22 March 2018 following changes in the coaching staff.
