Neil Druckmann: podcast appearances and interviews

Neil Druckmann is an Israeli-American writer, creative director, designer, and programmer. He is the studio head and head of creative at Naughty Dog. Druckmann is best known for his work on the video game franchises Uncharted and The Last of Us. He co-created The Last of Us and its television adaptation, and has played a key role in developing these projects. His career at Naughty Dog began as an intern, and he worked on several titles including Jak 3 and Jak X: Combat Racing as a programmer. He later became a designer for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and served as co-lead game designer for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The narrative of Uncharted 2 received critical acclaim. Druckmann also authored comics and graphic novels, including Uncharted: Eye of Indra and The Last of Us: American Dreams. He co-led the development of The Last of Us and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, serving as writer and creative director. He was promoted to vice president of Naughty Dog in 2018 and later became co-president in 2020. As head of creative from 2023 and studio head from 2024, Druckmann has overseen major projects including The Last of Us Part II, which he directed and co-wrote.
