Neal Smith: podcast appearances and interviews

Neal Smith, born on September 23, 1947, is an American musician recognized for his tenure as the drummer with the rock band Alice Cooper from 1967 to 1974. His contributions include performances on the band's early albums such as Pretties for You and Easy Action, as well as on their breakout album Love It to Death. Smith also played on subsequent successful albums including Killer, School's Out, and Billion Dollar Babies. The last studio album featuring the original Alice Cooper group members producing new music was Muscle of Love in 1973, and the group's Greatest Hits compilation was released in 1974. In 2018, a live performance album titled Live from the Astroturf was issued, capturing a 2015 concert where four original members performed hit songs, with additional guitar contributions to honor the late Glen Buxton. Smith's musical achievements were formally recognized in 2011 when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the original Alice Cooper group.
