Nathan Rabin: podcast appearances and interviews

Nathan Rabin is an American writer, humorist, and critic known for his work on film, television, music, and comedy. He was the first head writer for The A.V. Club, a role he held until 2013 when he left the Onion organization. Following his departure, Rabin became a staff writer for The Dissolve, a film website operated by Pitchfork Media. During his time at The Dissolve, he authored columns such as 'Forgotbusters,' which examined films that were top box office performers in their release years but lacked lasting cultural impact, and 'Streaming University,' which reviewed documentaries available on streaming platforms like Netflix and Hulu. Rabin parted ways with The Dissolve in April 2015 but later returned to The A.V. Club as a freelance writer. In 2017, he announced the cancellation of his 'My World of Flops' column at The A.V. Club and launched his own Patreon-funded website, Nathan Rabin's Happy Place. Throughout his career, Rabin has been recognized for his insightful commentary on film and pop culture.
