Nathalie Joanne Emmanuel is an English actress born on 2 March 1989. She began her acting career in theatre during the late 1990s, performing in various West End productions including the musical The Lion King. In 2006, she made her on-screen debut starring as Sasha Valentine in the soap opera Hollyoaks. Following this, she appeared in various British television series before her first film role in Twenty8k in 2012. Emmanuel gained international recognition for her portrayal of Missandei in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, a role she played from 2013 to 2019. Her film career expanded with supporting roles in several major productions, including the Maze Runner film series from 2015 to 2018. She also appeared in the Fast & Furious franchise, featuring in Furious 7 in 2015, The Fate of the Furious in 2017, F9 in 2021, and Fast X in 2023.
