Nate Morton: podcast appearances and interviews

Nate Morton is an American drummer known for his work as the house band member on NBC's television show The Voice. His interest in drumming was supported by his parents from a young age, and he began formal lessons before high school. Morton studied with Grant Menfee in Baltimore, Maryland, and later graduated from the Berklee College of Music. Throughout his career, he has performed with numerous artists including Vanessa Carlton, Natalie Cole, and Madonna, with whom he performed at the 2002 Grammy Awards. He has also toured with Chaka Khan, The Hippos, and Poe, and completed a national tour as the drummer for the American Idol band in 2004. Morton appeared on the reality shows Rock Star: INXS and Rock Star: Supernova as part of the house band, alongside other musicians such as Rafael Moreira and Paul Mirkovich. His collaborations extend to studio recordings, including two CDs with the house band and a solo album titled Playground Philosophy released in 2006. He toured the United States with Paul Stanley from Kiss in late 2006 and in Australia in 2007. Additionally, Morton performed on MTV's Rock The Cradle and has played with Miley Cyrus and Magnetico.
