Nate Green: podcast appearances and interviews

Nathan Anthony Green, born December 2, 1977, is an NBA referee and retired professional basketball player. During his playing career, he competed in the Australian National Basketball League, the NBA Development League, and Italy's Lega Serie A. Green played collegiately at Indiana State University from 1996 to 2000, where he was a four-year starter. As a senior, he led the Sycamores to their first NCAA tournament appearance in 21 years, averaging 16.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists. He received honors such as the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year and defensive player of the year. Throughout his college career, Green scored a total of 1,182 points and is co-record holder at Indiana State for steals with 240, a record shared with Larry Bird. After college, Green played for the Canberra Cannons in Australia's National Basketball League and later participated in the NBA Development League for the North Charleston Lowgators and Columbus Riverdragons. He also spent several seasons playing in Italy, where he averaged 20.5 points per game over seven seasons. Following his retirement from professional basketball, Green transitioned into officiating and is now an NBA referee. He was inducted into the Indiana State Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.
