Molly Tuttle: podcast appearances and interviews

Molly Rose Tuttle is an American vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, banjo player, and recording artist who performs within the bluegrass tradition. She is recognized for her skills in flatpicking, clawhammer, and crosspicking guitar techniques. Tuttle has cited Laurie Lewis, Kathy Kallick, Alison Krauss, and Hazel Dickens as her role models. She made history in 2017 as the first woman to win the International Bluegrass Music Association's Guitar Player of the Year award. She received this accolade again in 2018 and was named the Americana Music Association's Instrumentalist of the Year that same year. In 2023, she released the album Crooked Tree, which earned her the Best Bluegrass Album award and led to a nomination for the all-genre Best New Artist award at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. Tuttle and her band Golden Highway also won International Bluegrass Music Awards in 2023 for Crooked Tree and the album's title track, in the categories of Album of the Year and Song of the Year. She was also honored as Female Vocalist of the Year.
