Michael John Myers, born on May 25, 1963, is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, filmmaker, musician, and singer. He gained recognition through his six seasons as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1989 to 1995, which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. Myers is known for his portrayals in the Wayne's World, Austin Powers, and Shrek franchises, with the latter being the second highest-grossing animated film franchise.
