Mike Miller: podcast appearances and interviews

Michael Lloyd Miller, born on February 19, 1980, is an American former professional basketball player and coach. His playing career included 17 seasons in the National Basketball Association where he was known as a swingman and primarily a three-point specialist. Miller was selected by the Orlando Magic with the fifth overall pick in the first round of the 2000 NBA draft. He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2001 and received the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2006. Throughout his career, Miller played for several teams including the Orlando Magic, Minnesota Timberwolves, Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets, and won two consecutive NBA championships with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into coaching. Miller served as a college assistant coach with the Memphis Tigers before resigning after two seasons. He then became the head coach at Houston High, leading the team to its first basketball state championship on March 20, 2021. In addition to coaching, Miller founded Let It Fly Team Sports Management in 2020, an agency representing college and professional football and basketball players. His clients include notable athletes such as Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero and New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jeremiah Fears. Currently, Miller is affiliated with the Committee on Accreditation of EMS Programs, and is involved in women's basketball coaching.
