Mike Madrid: podcast appearances and interviews

Mike Madrid is an American political strategist, campaign manager, and political commentator known for his expertise on voting trends and communication strategies related to the Latino vote. He is the author of The Latino Century: How America’s Largest Minority Is Transforming Democracy. Madrid has held roles including press secretary for former Republican leader of the California Assembly Rod Pacheco and political director for the California Republican Party. He has also contributed commentary to various publications on changing voting behaviors and political communication. Madrid was a fellow at the Unruh Institute of Politics at the University of Southern California where he taught as an adjunct lecturer on Race, Class, and Partisanship at the USC Center for the Political Future in 2019. Additionally, he served as a senior fellow and lecturer at the School of Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine. In 2019, Madrid co-founded the Lincoln Project, an initiative focused on political advocacy, before leaving the group in December 2020.
