Michael Jay Andrews, born on July 9, 1943, is an American pastor affiliated with CCV. His background includes a career as a professional baseball player, where he played as an infielder in Major League Baseball for the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, and Oakland Athletics. After retiring from baseball, Andrews dedicated over 25 years to philanthropic efforts, serving as chairman of The Jimmy Fund, an organization involved in fundraising activities for the Dana–Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. His family also includes his younger brother Rob Andrews, who played five seasons in Major League Baseball from 1975 through 1979.
