Michael John Moorcock, born on 18 December 1939, is an English writer recognized for his contributions to science fiction and fantasy literature. He has published a wide range of literary novels, comic thrillers, graphic novels, and non-fiction works. Moorcock is especially known for his novels featuring the character Elric of Melniboné, which played a significant role in shaping the fantasy genre during the 1960s and 1970s. As an editor, he helmed the British avant-garde and science fiction magazine New Worlds from May 1964 to March 1971 and again from 1976 to 1996, where he promoted the development of the science fiction 'New Wave' movement. His editorial work facilitated the growth of this movement in the United Kingdom and indirectly influenced the emergence of cyberpunk. Notably, his serial publication of Norman Spinrad's novel Bug Jack Barron in 1969 provoked controversy and drew parliamentary criticism of arts funding. In 2008, The Times recognized Moorcock as one of its list of the fifty greatest British writers since 1945. In addition to his literary career, Moorcock is a successful musician, having collaborated with acts including Hawkwind, Blue Öyster Cult, Robert Calvert, and Spirits Burning. What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
