Michael Kirk: podcast appearances and interviews

Michael Kirk is a documentary filmmaker and the original senior producer of Frontline, PBS's flagship documentary series. He served in this role from the series' inception in 1983 until the fall of 1987, after which he established his own production company, the Kirk Documentary Group. Throughout his career spanning over four decades, Kirk has produced more than 200 national television programs that explore significant events and issues in America's history. Born in Denver, Colorado, he later grew up in Boise, Idaho, where he attended Bishop Kelly High School. He earned a degree in journalism from the University of Idaho in 1971 and was a Nieman Fellow in Journalism at Harvard University in 1980.
