Michael Clinton: podcast appearances and interviews

Michael A. Clinton is a magazine publishing executive, entrepreneur, speaker, author, and magazine writer. He is known for his book Longevity Nation: The People, Ideas, and Trends Changing the Second Half of Our Lives. Clinton has held significant positions in the magazine industry, including serving as publisher of GQ magazine from 1988 to 1994 and progressing to senior vice president and executive vice president of publisher at Condé Nast until 1997. He later joined Hearst Magazines, where he served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer and was also publishing director. From 2010, he was the president of marketing and publishing director of Hearst Magazines and was a member of the board of directors of The Hearst Corporation. Currently, he serves as a senior media advisor to the CEO of Hearst. Clinton holds degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and Pace University’s Lubin School of Business, and in 2021 earned an MS degree from Columbia University. He is the author of the bestselling book ROAR: Into the Second Half of Your Life Before It’s Too Late, published in September 2021, which served as the basis for his business ROARforward, focused on the New Longevity sector. His career began as a reporter for DNR, a men's wear trade journal. In addition to his writing career, he has composed eight books of photography and two collections of essays. His most recent book, Longevity Nation, was published in May 2026.
