Merril Hoge: podcast appearances and interviews

Merril DuAine Hoge, born January 26, 1965, is an American former professional football player and a longstanding football analyst for ESPN. He played as a running back in the National Football League for eight seasons, representing the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bears. Hoge's college football career was with the Idaho State Bengals, and he was drafted into the NFL in 1987 by the Steelers in the tenth round. He retired from professional football following the 1994 season. Since 1996, Hoge has worked as a football analyst on ESPN television. His tenure at ESPN included a role as a matchup analyst alongside Ron Jaworski until he was laid off after the network's-wide cuts in April 2017.
