Megan Denise Fox, born on May 16, 1986, is an American actress known for her roles in film and television. She made her acting debut in the family film Holiday in the Sun in 2001, followed by supporting roles in various projects including Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith, where she had a starring role from 2004 to 2006. Fox's breakthrough came with her portrayal of Mikaela Banes in the 2007 action film Transformers, a role she reprised in its 2009 sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
