Matthew Potter: podcast appearances and interviews

Matthew Potter is an Irish academic and the curator of Limerick Museum. He is a published historian whose primary research focuses on governmental history. Potter is an Honorary Fellow of the Department of History at the University of Limerick. His scholarly work has also explored the connections between Limerick the city and limerick the poem. Potter was educated at Abbey Vocational School in Donegal Town and Crescent College in Limerick City. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of London and a Doctor of Philosophy in history from the National University of Ireland, Galway. Additionally, he completed a Master of Arts in museum practice and management at the University of Ulster in 2018. In 2024, Potter was elected a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
