Matthew Maynard: podcast appearances and interviews

Matthew Peter Maynard, born on 21 March 1966, is an English cricket coach and former cricketer. He played in four Tests and fourteen One Day Internationals for England. During his career, Maynard was recognized for his aggressive and dashing strokeplay as a batsman, and later in his career, he also served as a wicketkeeper. He played first-class cricket for Glamorgan, achieving a batting average of 42.53, and was notable for his fielding skills, taking 372 catches and making seven stumpings while keeping wicket. Although he earned several caps for England, he was unable to replicate his county form at the Test level. Maynard earned recognition as a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1998 and was the second batsman for Glamorgan to score a century on debut in a first-class match.
