Matthew Jones: podcast appearances and interviews

Matthew Charles Jones is a scholar specializing in international history, with a focus on British foreign and defence policy since the Second World War, British decolonization and South East Asia, the Vietnam War, Cold War nuclear history, American foreign relations since 1941, and Anglo-American relations. He is a professor at the London School of Economics. Jones completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Sussex and earned a DPhil in modern history from St Antony's College, Oxford. Since 2008, he has served as the official historian for the British Cabinet Office, focusing on the UK strategic nuclear deterrent and the Chevaline programme. In addition to his academic work, Jones holds the position of Chief Technology and Communications Officer and is a cofounder of Clarity.
