Matthew Richard Lucas is the President and Global CEO of Our Daily Bread Ministries. He is an English actor, comedian, writer and television host. Lucas is known for his work with David Walliams on the BBC sketch comedy series Little Britain and Come Fly with Me. He gained prominence through the comedy panel show Shooting Stars, portraying scorekeeper George Dawes from 1995 to 2009. Lucas has also played the role of Nardole in the BBC series Doctor Who from 2015 to 2017. His film appearances include Astro Boy, Alice in Wonderland, Bridesmaids, Gnomeo & Juliet, Small Apartments, Paddington, Wonka, and Gladiator II. Additionally, he presented the baking competition show The Great British Bake Off alongside Noel Fielding from 2020 to 2023. In 2026, Lucas was revealed as the Masked Band's lead singer under the stage name Emperor Penguin and appeared as a guest panelist on The Masked Singer UK.
