Mark Wills: podcast appearances and interviews

Mark Wills, born Daryl Mark Williams on August 8, 1973, is an American country music artist and a family man. He signed with Mercury Records in 1996, releasing five studio albums including his self-titled debut, Wish You Were Here, Permanently, Loving Every Minute, and And the Crowd Goes Wild. His most successful work includes the platinum-certified album Wish You Were Here, which features chart-topping singles such as the title track and 19 Somethin. Over his career, Wills charted sixteen singles on the Billboard country charts, all reaching the top 40, with six singles reaching the top 10. Notable singles include Jacob's Ladder, Places I've Never Been, I Do (Cherish You), Don't Laugh at Me, She's in Love, and a cover of Back at One. After leaving Mercury in 2003, Wills signed with Equity Music Group, producing three singles, two of which appeared on his sixth studio album, Familiar Stranger, released on the Tenacity label in 2008. Some of his recordings, such as Somebody and What Hurts the Most, were later covered and became hits for other artists. On December 21, 2018, Wills was invited to join the Grand Ole Opry as its 218th member and was inducted on January 11, 2019. He is recognized for his contributions to country music and his presence both on stage and in the community as a family-oriented individual.
