Mark Waid: podcast appearances and interviews

Mark Waid, born on March 21, 1962, is an American comic book writer known for his work on various titles across multiple publishers. He has contributed to DC Comics, notably writing for The Flash, Kingdom Come, and Superman: Birthright. His work extends to Marvel, where he has written for Captain America, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil. Waid has also worked with other publishers including Fantagraphics, Event, Top Cow, Dynamite, and Archie Comics. From August 2007 to December 2010, he served as Editor-in-Chief and later Chief Creative Officer of Boom! Studios, during which he published his creator-owned series Irredeemable and Incorruptible. In October 2018, he joined Humanoids Publishing as Director of Creative Development and was promoted to Publisher in February 2020. Waid departed Humanoids to return to freelance work in 2022.
