Mark McDermott: podcast appearances and interviews

Mark McDermott is the CEO of ScreenCloud. He has a background in rugby union as a player and coach. McDermott played as a hooker for Leinster and Munster, participating in the Heineken Cup, and also represented Lansdowne FC and Shannon RFC at the Irish senior level. Additionally, he played for Ireland's second national team. As a coach, McDermott served as a forwards coach for St. Michael's College in Dublin, leading the team to its first Leinster Schools Senior Cup win in 2007. He was involved with Ireland's U21 national team as an assistant coach and later as head coach from May 2004. He also held the position of Elite Player Development Manager for the Irish Rugby Football Union. From August 2016 to February 2018, McDermott was the forwards coach for the Russia national rugby union team. Following the resignation of Aleksandr Pervukhin in February 2018, he was appointed the acting head coach of Russia. He continued in various roles within the Rugby Union of Russia until 2021. McDermott's coaching experience includes working at both the national and school levels, demonstrating a broad engagement with rugby union at multiple stages.
