Mark James Littlewood, born on 28 April 1972, is the founder and CEO of Business of Software. He has previously served as a director of the Institute of Economic Affairs, a think tank registered as a charity. During his career, Littlewood was the chief press spokesman for the Liberal Democrats and the Pro-Euro Conservative Party. He initially supported deeper European integration but later shifted to a eurosceptic stance, advocating for voting to Leave in the 2016 referendum on European Union membership. While directing the IEA, Littlewood was recorded offering access to British government ministers and civil servants to foreign donors, which led to an investigation by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. His activities also prompted media questions regarding the charity status of the IEA.
