Mark Hunt, born on 23 March 1974, is a New Zealand former professional mixed martial artist and kickboxer. Throughout his career in mixed martial arts, he competed in Pride Fighting Championships from 2004 to 2006 and in the Ultimate Fighting Championship from 2010 to 2018. As a kickboxer, Hunt achieved notable success as the winner of the 2001 K-1 World Grand Prix. He is recognized by the nickname the 'King of Walk-Offs' for his distinctive practice of walking away and halting attacks before the referee officially ends the match. Currently, Hunt is affiliated with the National Comfort Institute, where he is known as an experienced painter and interior finish specialist.
