Mark Holland, born on October 16, 1974, is the Head of Programming Delivery at the Canadian National Exhibition. Prior to his current role, Holland has had a notable career in Canadian politics. He served as a member of Parliament for Ajax from 2015 to 2025 and for Ajax;Pickering from 2004 to 2011. As a member of the Liberal Party, he held several significant positions including chief government whip from 2018 to 2021, government house leader from 2021 to 2023, and minister of health from 2023 to 2025. Before his tenure in federal politics, Holland was involved in municipal government, serving as a councillor for the City of Pickering from 1997 to 2004 and on the Region of Durham council from 2000 to 2004. After exiting politics, he transitioned to the role of chief executive officer at the Canadian National Exhibition in July 2025, where he now oversees programming delivery for the organization.
