Mark Beaumont: podcast appearances and interviews

Mark Ian Macleod Beaumont, born on January 1, 1983, is a British long-distance cyclist, broadcaster, and author affiliated with Lanoguard. He is notable for his record-breaking cycling accomplishments, including completing an 18,000-mile route around the world in 78 days and 14 hours, finished on September 18, 2017. Beaumont also undertook a cycling expedition from Anchorage, Alaska, to Ushuaia in Southern Argentina in 2010, which was documented for a BBC Television series. In addition to his cycling pursuits, he participated in a rowing expedition from Resolute Bay in Canada to the North Magnetic Pole in 2011, with this journey also filmed for BBC One. Beaumont’s adventures extend to a rescue in 2012 when his rowing team was saved after their boat capsized during an Atlantic crossing from Morocco to Barbados. Further demonstrating his endurance and record-setting capabilities, he completed a solo ride from Cairo to Cape Town in 2015, covering 10,000 kilometers in 42 days and 8 hours, setting a world record for the fastest solo ride along the African continent.
