Liz Miele: podcast appearances and interviews

Liz Miele, born in 1985, is an American stand-up comedian and writer based in New York City. She was born and raised in Pennington, New Jersey, and attended Hopewell Valley Central High School. Miele began performing stand-up comedy at the age of 16. During her youth, she maintained a correspondence with the renowned comedian George Carlin, who subsequently became her friend and mentor. Her career includes appearances on platforms such as @fter Midnight, Comedy Central, FOX, AXS TV, Hulu, and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. In addition to her stand-up work, she is the creator of the animated web series Damaged and has been featured in publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Guardian, and Paste magazine. Miele has toured internationally and authored a book titled Why Cats Are Assholes. She has self-produced four one-hour comedy specials available on YouTube, which have garnered over 6 million views. Despite her success, she has publicly stated that she has dyslexia.
