Lisa White: podcast appearances and interviews

Lisa D. White is an American geologist with expertise in paleontology, oceanography, and geology. She serves as the director of Education and Outreach at the University of California Museum of Paleontology. Her academic career includes roles as a professor of geosciences and as an associate dean of the College of Science and Engineering at San Francisco State University. White earned her PhD from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1989. She was elected to the California Academy of Sciences in 2000 and became a Fellow of the Geological Society of America in 2009. In 2022, she received the 'Friend of Darwin' award from the National Center for Science Education. White is affiliated with Friends of the Hound, contributing her scientific expertise and dedication to science education and outreach.
