Lisa Jane Vanderpump, born on 15 September 1960, is an English restaurateur, businesswoman, and television personality. She gained prominence as a main cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a role she held from 2010 until 2019. After emigrating from the United Kingdom to the United States, Vanderpump has been active in the restaurant industry alongside her husband Ken Todd. Her establishment in West Hollywood, California, called SUR, short for Sexy Unique Restaurant, serves as the setting for Bravo's Vanderpump Rules, a reality television series she stars in and serves as an executive producer for. In addition to Vanderpump Rules, she has executive produced other television projects including E!'s Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump, Peacock's Vanderpump Dogs, and Hulu's Vanderpump Villa. Beyond her television career, Vanderpump is also recognized for her advocacy work in animal rights. She is the founder of The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to animal rescue efforts domestically and internationally.
