Lisa McDonald: podcast appearances and interviews

Lisa McDonald is the CEO of Recollect. She is from County Wexford and has a background in law, having studied at University College Dublin. McDonald is a solicitor and owns her own legal firm in Wexford. She has held various political roles, including serving as a member of Wexford County Council from 2004 to 2007 and being co-opted again to the council in July 2016, following the death of councillor Fergie Kehoe. She was re-elected in 2019 and 2024 for the Rosslare area. McDonald was a member of Seanad Éireann from 2007 to 2011, having been nominated by the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern. She was also a member of the Fianna Fáil National Executive from 1995 to 2004 and served as the party's Seanad spokesperson for Equality and Law Reform during her time in the senate. She has run unsuccessfully for the Wexford constituency in the general elections of 2007 and 2020. McDonald is married with two children.
